Why Choose Us?
We are a dedicated husband and wife team with a passion and a real love for all animals.
Whatever breed, shape or size; dogs, cats, rabbits, tortoises, guinea-pigs, hamsters, mice, fish, reptiles, chickens, .... we cater for them all, big or small.
The health and welfare of all the animals we look after are our top priority.
We ensure all of our pets are safe and secure with a high standard of hygiene, security and cleanliness within our home and gardens.
Our detached cottage is welcoming, cosy and comfortable with all visiting dogs living in our home with us with their own separate beds and sleeping areas.
We offer a free consultation and getting to know you visit in our home. Alternatively we will arrange to visit you in your home for a nominal fee. We will meet with you and your pets and design a service that meets your needs.
For dog home boarding we will arrange a time for familiarisation with our own female dog, a Border Collie called Dills. We will ask you to provide us with records of current vaccinations which have been completed at least four weeks before the first date of boarding as well as flea and worming treatments.
For dog walking, we are ideally situated on the outskirts of Bath Hurst Estate in Cirencester, with access to miles of open countryside with free running away from traffic and busy parks. Please note we will ask for your written permission to free run them off lead. We do not offer pack walks or group walks, we focus on the well being of your dog, minimising stress and inappropriate greetings.
For cat feed and fuss visits we will give your pets time to get to know us and enjoy company and attention.
For smallies we provide luxury accommodation and attend to their every need...
Registrations, Licence and Qualifications
Since starting the business eight years ago, we have held a licence with Cotswold District Council for the home boarding of two dogs plus our resident dog.
Our licence number is C/18/01363/ANIMAL in the name of Mrs Julie Taylor. We are very pleased to have been awarded a star rating of 3 Star in accordance with the new 2018 government regulations. This rating is commendable with 98% of all measurements passed. Most small boarding businesses do not apply for a boarding licence at all. We are very pleased to say that we are among the few that do. We believe this sets us apart as being reliable in knowledge and safety and care for the pets we look after and you can rest assured that you are leaving your pets in professional hands.
We also have appropriate C.R.B certification for visiting in your homes. We are fully insured for pet sitting, animal boarding and dog walking and for carrying our cat and small animal visits.
With over 50 years of experience of pet ownership and pet care, a distinction in small animal health and welfare, and first aid trained, you can be assured your pets will be looked after with the utmost care and attention.
If you are new to us we will provide you with references and insurance information so you can be assured of our professionalism and leaving your pets and home in our care.
In the last few years Julie has been on an amazing journey learning about botanical self healing, listening to and attending workshops with Caroline Ingraham to learn about Applied Zoopharmacognosy for Canines, Felines and Humans! More recently following this passion Julie enrolled in an intensive practitioner programme in Botanical Self-Healing, training under the guidance of Rachel Windsor-Knott in an UKRS accredited programme of learning. She is now integrating this knowledge and experience into her daily work with animals and her family. Read more on the dedicated page of this website All Paws Botanics.
